Concluded: Gospel Meeting With Dr. Tony Roach

Dr. Tony Roach, minister to the Minda Street Church of Christ, spoke at the Harlem Church of Christ, April 22nd – 25th.  For the past several years, Bro. Roach has blessed our congregation by sharing the Biblical model for the government, organization and development of the local church.  Members from sister congregations were also in attendance.  Please note that this gospel meeting has concluded and will not be meeting on Thursday, April 26th.   

April 29th: Harlem Ordains Elders

We praise our Father for His Word and instruction.  On April 29th, the Harlem Church of Christ will observe the ordination of its elders.  For the past several years, a select group of men, their families, and the congregation at large have studied the Biblical model of the Lord’s church, each focusing intently on the roles and responsibilities the Lord has set in place for His people. 

 MWCE’s Annual Fund Raising Program for Southwestern Christian College

MWCE’s Annual Fund Raising Program is rapidly approaching.  The date is Saturday, April 28th at 1:00 p.m. here at the Harlem church building.  A fantastic program is being planned and the guest speaker will be one other than Bro. Jack Evans, Jr. of Southwestern Christian College.  The Metropolitan Workers for Christian Education are very busy canvassing our congregation to secure your donations.  As always, Harlem has been the greatest supporter of our April event.  The requested donation is $35.00. 

Sick and Shut In

Please remember to pray fr and to visit all of those in our church family who are sick and shut-in, hospitalized, bereaved and those who are in nursing homes, considering ourselves, for this is our duty as Christians.
