A CHURCH AFFECTING ITS COMMUNITY
The Harlem Church of Christ is a church that cares about affecting its local community. Not only do we have a series of internal ministries for the saints who worship at the Harlem church, but we also support the efforts of local and national groups striving to support the New York community (and world at large) in a positive way.

“THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE”: HARLEM SUMMER EXCHANGE MISSION
The Harlem Church of Christ is proud to announce its second year hosting a teen/ young adult missions ministry. This year, Brother Chase Pratt and a group of chaperones from the Lapeer Church of Christ will be bringing a group of approximately 40 Michigan teenagers to labor and worship with us. We are excited to meet this group of dynamic young people. A list of all of group activities and missions has been posted on our website, and will also be posted on the church’s bulletin board in the lobby. We ask that all members of the Harlem Church of Christ review their schedules to see where they can join in and labor alongside our fellow brothers and sisters. For those who remember our group from last year, Brother Tim Allison and the Bears for Christ blessed the Harlem Church by dedicating a week of their time to worship, learn, and labor with us. Their example of Christian stewardship moved us greatly, reminding us that the cause of Christ is one that extends past race, region and culture, and this new group of visiting young people is likewise a blessing to our souls. Stay tuned in to our website as more details will be posted in the upcoming weeks. Most importantly, keep our young brothers and sisters nationwide in prayer as they seek to model the steps of Christ by “increas[ing] in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52.
